The short answer

Weglot limits both how many languages you get and how many words it translates across all of them, and translated URLs start on its Pro plan. Zinn® Translate counts your words once and includes every language and translated URLs on every tier.

  1. Weglot pricing

Standard site $19 · Large or complex site $59 · Shop or enterprise site $199 — Per site, per month. Words are counted once in your site's own language, however many languages you publish.

How the pricing models differ

Weglot's pricing page limits both the number of languages and the total words translated across all of them. A 20,000-word site in five languages is 100,000 translated words, which on that page is the Pro plan. Zinn® Translate counts the same site's words once — 20,000 — which is the Standard tier with every language included.

Why site owners choose Zinn® Translate over Weglot

All 58 languages on every tier — no choosing a language count up front.

Words are counted once in your own language, not multiplied by every language you add.

Translations are stored in your own WordPress site, not served from someone else's cloud.

Where it may suit you better

Weglot's website lists integrations beyond WordPress, including Shopify and Squarespace, and its pricing page offers ordering professional human translation, custom languages and serving a language on its own top-level domain. If your site is not WordPress, or you need human translators ordered through the same tool, Weglot is built for that.

Where Zinn® Translate fits

If your site is WordPress and you want every language available without choosing a language count up front, Zinn® Translate prices by your site's own word count and includes all 58 languages, translated slugs and per-language sitemaps on every tier.

How to switch from Weglot in three steps

  1. Connect your site and see its word count

Connect the WordPress site in your Zinn Digital® account. Before you pay, the Translation tab counts your site's words so you know which tier fits.

  2. Choose your languages and let it translate

Pick the languages to publish — all 58 are included. Pages, menus, SEO titles, descriptions, slugs and image alt text are translated, with hreflang and a sitemap per language.

  3. Check, then switch Weglot off

Review the translated pages and correct anything by hand. When you are happy, deactivate Weglot. If its language addresses were different, redirect the old ones to the new pages so search engines follow.

Questions about switching from Weglot

Do I need to pay per language like with Weglot?

No. Every tier includes all 58 languages. The price is set by how many words your site has, counted once in its own language — not by how many languages you publish.

Will my translated pages still be indexed after leaving Weglot?

Yes. Zinn® Translate publishes each language at its own address with translated slugs, hreflang tags and a sitemap per language. If Weglot used different addresses, redirect the old ones to the new pages.

Can I correct a translation by hand?

Yes. Any string can be corrected by hand, and your correction is kept when the rest of the page is re-translated after an edit.
