The short answer

TranslatePress sells a yearly licence with a fixed allowance of AI-translated words. Zinn® Translate is sized by your site's word count, so adding languages never eats into an allowance.

  1. TranslatePress pricing

Standard site $19 · Large or complex site $59 · Shop or enterprise site $199 — Per site, per month. Words are counted once in your site's own language, however many languages you publish.

How the pricing models differ

TranslatePress sells a yearly licence with an allowance of AI-translated words, and extra words are bought in packages when it runs out. Zinn® Translate is a monthly subscription per site whose tier is set by how many words the site has, so translating it into more languages does not use up an allowance.

Why site owners choose Zinn® Translate over TranslatePress

No word allowance to track across languages — publish all 58 if you like.

Edits are picked up and only the changed text is re-translated, automatically.

Translations stay on your server, and deactivating the plugin never deletes them.

Where it may suit you better

TranslatePress's pricing page lists a front-end visual translation editor, a different domain per language, translator accounts and DeepL integration, and says translations stay on your server and keep working if you do not renew. If you want a yearly licence and a visual editor for translating page by page, it is built for that.

Where Zinn® Translate fits

If you would rather not track a word allowance across languages, Zinn® Translate includes all 58 languages at a price set by your site's size, re-translates only what you change, and keeps translations on your own server too — deactivating the plugin never deletes them.

How to switch from TranslatePress in three steps

  1. Connect your site and see its word count

Connect the WordPress site in your Zinn Digital® account. Before you pay, the Translation tab counts your site's words so you know which tier fits.

  2. Choose your languages and let it translate

Pick the languages to publish — all 58 are included. Pages, menus, SEO titles, descriptions, slugs and image alt text are translated, with hreflang and a sitemap per language.

  3. Check, then switch TranslatePress off

Review the translated pages and correct anything by hand. When you are happy, deactivate TranslatePress. If its language addresses were different, redirect the old ones to the new pages so search engines follow.

Questions about switching from TranslatePress

Do I need to pay per language like with TranslatePress?

No. Every tier includes all 58 languages. The price is set by how many words your site has, counted once in its own language — not by how many languages you publish.

Will my translated pages still be indexed after leaving TranslatePress?

Yes. Zinn® Translate publishes each language at its own address with translated slugs, hreflang tags and a sitemap per language. If TranslatePress used different addresses, redirect the old ones to the new pages.

Can I correct a translation by hand?

Yes. Any string can be corrected by hand, and your correction is kept when the rest of the page is re-translated after an edit.
