  1. GTranslate pricing

Standard site $19 · Large or complex site $59 · Shop or enterprise site $199 — Per site, per month. Words are counted once in your site's own language, however many languages you publish.

How the pricing models differ

GTranslate's free plan is a language selector widget; its pricing page marks it as non-commercial and without search engine indexing, translated URLs or editing. Its paid plans are a hosted translation delivery network priced by plan rather than by words. Zinn® Translate stores translations in your own WordPress database and renders them from your own server.

Why site owners choose Zinn® Translate over GTranslate

Real translated pages that search engines index, in every language.

Translated slugs on every tier, not only on the higher plans.

SEO plugins, WooCommerce, menus and sitemaps translated as part of the site.

Where it may suit you better

GTranslate's pricing page says it can translate any HTML website and includes unlimited words and page views on every plan, with language-specific domains on Enterprise. If your site is not WordPress, or you have a very large site and want a flat price regardless of size, it is built for that.

Where Zinn® Translate fits

If your site is WordPress and you want translations stored on your own server, translated slugs on every tier, and SEO plugins, WooCommerce, menus and sitemaps translated as part of the site, Zinn® Translate is built around that.

How to switch from GTranslate in three steps

  1. Connect your site and see its word count

Connect the WordPress site in your Zinn Digital® account. Before you pay, the Translation tab counts your site's words so you know which tier fits.

  2. Choose your languages and let it translate

Pick the languages to publish — all 58 are included. Pages, menus, SEO titles, descriptions, slugs and image alt text are translated, with hreflang and a sitemap per language.

  3. Check, then switch GTranslate off

Review the translated pages and correct anything by hand. When you are happy, deactivate GTranslate. If its language addresses were different, redirect the old ones to the new pages so search engines follow.

Questions about switching from GTranslate

Do I need to pay per language like with GTranslate?

No. Every tier includes all 58 languages. The price is set by how many words your site has, counted once in its own language — not by how many languages you publish.

Will my translated pages still be indexed after leaving GTranslate?

Yes. Zinn® Translate publishes each language at its own address with translated slugs, hreflang tags and a sitemap per language. If GTranslate used different addresses, redirect the old ones to the new pages.

Can I correct a translation by hand?

Yes. Any string can be corrected by hand, and your correction is kept when the rest of the page is re-translated after an edit.
